To provide our automated catalog analysis and rollback protection, CatalogForge AI accesses only the minimum necessary store data:
🔒 We NEVER collect, access, or store merchant customer personal data (names, emails, shipping addresses, or payment cards).
Product descriptions submitted for AI rewriting are processed through Google Gemini AI APIs. Only product titles and existing description fragments are transmitted to generate creative copy suggestions. No personally identifiable merchant or customer information is shared with AI model providers, and customer data is never used to train generalized models.
CatalogForge AI is fully compliant with Shopify's mandatory data privacy webhooks:
customers/data_request): Because CatalogForge AI does not store customer records, requests return confirmation of zero customer data held.customers/redact): No customer data is stored, acknowledged within 48 hours.shop/redact): Within 48 hours of an uninstallation or erasure request, all snapshot histories, optimization batches, and session credentials associated with your store are permanently purged from our database.Snapshot histories are maintained as long as the merchant maintains an active installation of CatalogForge AI to ensure 1-Click Rollback availability. If you uninstall the app, all store snapshots and authentication tokens are automatically deleted in accordance with our 48-hour retention policy.
